Best Practice Spotlight Organization

Hampton Terrace Care Centre is committed to using evidence-based resources to support and sustain best practices that ensure the best possible resident care.

Hampton Terrace joined the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario’s (RNAO) Long-Term Care Best Practice Spotlight Organization® (LTC-BPSO®) as a Pre-Designate home in April 2019 and have begun to implement several best practice guidelines which we will build and sustain throughout our three year pre-designation period. The guidelines include:

Preventing Falls and Reducing Injury from Falls, 4th Edition
Promoting Safety: Alternative Approaches to the Use of Restraints
